Welcome to behind the scenes of Nature's Miracle Orphans.

This is a documentary following the early lives of orphaned Australian animals and their journey back into the wild.

Will Ridgeon (Producer/Director) BBC Natural History Unit.

Hannah Ward TV Researcher/Sound

Ellie Harrison Presenter.

Ellie Harrison, Presenter flew to Oz to film the two-part series, Nature's Miracle Orphans.

This is a story about  the rescue, transport and care of the most noble and gentle mammals, Australian Wildlife.

The smell of the wind and eucalyptus in the coats of the gently Kangaroo or the deep-earth smell of tiny Wallabies.  The trust in their eyes when they realise you mean them no harm, as their tiny hands hold yours.  This is the world of Wildlife & the people who care for them.

It is such a pleasure to be able to share with you what I see every day through the eyes of the BBC, with the most beautiful music from composter Guy Farley.
